ZhongKui (ZHONGKUI )

Black Myth: Zhong Kui is the second installment in the Black Myth series developed by Game Science. It was announced by Game Science at the opening event of Gamescom on August 20, 2025, with the simultaneous release of its first CG teaser trailer.

It is a single-player action role-playing game inspired by the Chinese folk legend of "Zhong Kui". The game still draws from ancient Chinese myths and folk legends, adopts a buy-to-play business model, and is planned to be launched on PC and mainstream console platforms. Currently, the game is still in the early development stage, with no actual gameplay content displayed yet.

From the disclosed information, Zhong Kui is depicted with a dark face and a curly beard, wearing greenish-black mechanical armor and holding a giant fan-blade weapon. His mount is a mechanical tiger with wet, matted fur, and he is accompanied by three mechanical hounds in battle. The overall art style continues the dark folk aesthetic.
