Pepidus Nero (PEPIDUS)

Pepidus Nero, the most amphibious emperor of ancient Rome, ruled with a croak and a grin. Draped in a regal toga (rumoured to be damp at all times) and crowned with a laurel wreath that doubled as a lily pad, he was both adored and side-eyed by his subjects. Famous for declaring himself the "Prince of the Pond" and hosting lavish feasts featuring fly hors d'oeuvres, Pepidus was a master of ribbiting speeches and slippery politics.
