OSMI is a bias-free, censorship resistant AI assistant, powered by the decentralized AI engine - a network of globally distributed GPU and memory nodes, known as OSMI Nodes.

At OSMI, we believe the future of AI is far too important to be solely in the hands of a few powerful, disingenuous corporations attempting to shape your worldview. OSMI was built in response to the problems inherent in mainstream centralized AI assistants.

OSMI was founded in 2023 by the team behind Gala's node network which powers approximately 50% of IPFS through 50k+ nodes, making it one of the biggest DePINs in the market. The OSMI team is also recognized for developing the backend powering dozens of AAA games, including Halo, Call of Duty, and Heartstone.
