Fidonet Dog (FIDO)

Fidonet has come a long way since 1984, when a San Francisco-based programmer and communications buff named Tom Jennings put together a BBS program and called it “Fido”, after his homebrew computer system, put together from so many odd components that a friend had once called it a real “mongrel”.
