## What Is Derby Stars (DSRUN)?

[Derby Stars](https://derbystars.com/&utm_source=cmc&utm_medium=oragnic_search&utm_campaign=description) is a free-to-play high-quality horse racing metaverse game where players raise and race horses. Developed by a team of game veterans led by Sean Hahm, the game provides players a unique gaming experience where users can engage in horse-related activities like training, breeding, racing and trading.

**DSRUN** is the governance token that is used for;

- Rewards of PvP Competition and achievements
- Payment for breeding, crafting and in-game items
- Used for governance votes to engage and participate in ecosystem's development

**Training** **:** Train horses to enhance stats and earn items and the opportunity to equip Cores for enhanced horse racing performance.

## How Many DSRUN Coins Are There in Circulation?

Derby Stars launched its token on July 31, 2023, with 50 million DSRUN tokens created at genesis. The total issuance of $DSRUN token is limited to 500,000,000.
The $DSRUN token is unlocked according to a predetermined schedule for 60 months from the Public Sale. The initial circulation supply is set at 16,000,000, which accounts for 3.2% of the total supply.

## Who Are the Founders of Derby Stars?

Derby Stars team is led by Seonwoo "Sean" Hahm, a veteran game producer who has worked in almost all the major game companies in Korea: "3N"(NCsoft, Nexon, Netmarble), Com2us. Team comprises 23 veterans from all the big name game companies in Korea.
