CAPU is compute you own, not compute you rent. Stake your CAP once, mint CAPU, and earn $1 of inference usage per day — every day — without ever giving up your capital.

Each CAPU token is a permanent, transferable claim on OpenCAP Gateway capacity. No subscriptions. No variable bills. No expiry. The compute is yours as long as you hold it.

CAPU are ERC20 tokens on Base — tradeable, stakeable, and composable with the rest of DeFi. The only way to mint new CAPU is by locking sCAP, anchoring compute supply directly to committed capital.
