Bigcap is a novel experiment in decentralized, collective investing where a gamified trading model promotes treasury growth. The vision of Bigcap is to grow into a decentralized, transparent investment fund where any token holder can participate in growing the treasury.

Bigcap achieves decentralization by tackling the robustness-efficiency tradeoff that has prevented other crypto hedge funds from becoming fully decentralized. The project is structured as a DAO that votes on the reward mechanics that incentivize participants. Participants must stake their $BIGCAP tokens to unlock a portion of the treasury that they can trade at their own discretion. The aggregate result of a community of traders imparts robustness that protects the treasury from the stochasticity of individual traders.

The $BIGCAP token serves two primary purposes: DAO governance rights and collateral for treasury protection. The DAO and project structure are designed to allow limitless expansion and modifications.
