Wukong (WUKONG)

Wukong is a legendary figure and a central character in the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West.  While the novel is based on the historical journey of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang, Wukong himself is a fictional character, a mischievous and powerful monkey with supernatural abilities.  His story blends elements of Chinese folklore, Taoism, and Buddhism . His image has become iconic in Chinese and East Asian culture, appearing in numerous adaptations across various media .
